In order to improve the working efficiency and safety of vehicles in a freight terminal in Nanjing, the management department of the freight terminal decided to install a set of video surveillance system for remote operation command of vehicles in the freight terminal. Suntor was invited to provide the project design and technical support.

Project analysis

When it is not convenient to set up lines on the site and the monitoring object needs to move, the traditional wired scheme can no longer meet the requirements of various monitoring systems. There is a vehicle on the site, and the image on the vehicle needs to be transmitted to the monitoring center during the driving process. As the front-end vehicle is far away from the monitoring room, the longest distance can reach 5 kilometers, and the uncertain items move, wireless microwave signal transmission is required.

Customer requirement

The project preliminarily determines that one vehicle needs to realize wireless video transmission, and each vehicle needs to be equipped with two gun machines and one billiard machine, which are required to be equipped with infrared, and three cameras are integrated through switches.

Ⅰ. The video acquisition part of the monitoring system adopts HD network camera, and the image of the camera is transmitted to the back-end monitoring center through the wireless transmission equipment on the vehicle.　

Ⅱ. The commander realizes real-time remote command of the personnel inside the vehicle through the images returned by the three high-definition cameras at the front end, effectively improving work efficiency.

Ⅲ. The equipment should be easy to install and erect, easy to disassemble, strong mobility, simple debugging, can be used repeatedly, real-time image transmission stability.

Ⅳ. All wireless video monitoring equipment on the vehicle is powered directly by the vehicle battery, which can save costs.　

Ⅴ. The design of wireless video surveillance equipment should consider waterproof, dustproof and shock-proof.

Ⅵ. The vehicle is a moving object, so the antenna Angle should be considered during transmission. It is better to adopt omnidirectional antenna transmission. When installing the antenna at the vehicle end, it is necessary to consider the serious turbulence of the vehicle, which may cause the antenna to break and damage.

Ⅶ. The longest distance between the monitoring room and the vehicle is about 5km. A 16-channel NVR is used as the monitoring host in the monitoring room, which can realize the operation functions of image storage, playback, real-time monitoring, etc. Later, it can access the network and realize remote viewing through mobile phones, computers and other network equipment.

Solution

After field survey by our company's technicians, it is decided to use MESH ad-supported network to complete surveillance video uploading. Three high-definition network cameras are installed on each vehicle, and signals are transmitted to the monitoring center through a 5801GB-M transmitter equipped with 360° omnidirectional antenna. The back-end monitoring center is equipped with a 5801GB-M receiving device. Three 120-angle antennas are used for coverage. No matter where the vehicle moves, it is within the coverage range of the antenna signal, and then the image is transmitted to the monitoring center. Through the test, the on-site video transmission is smooth and fully meets the requirements of customers.

The whole scheme, fully meet the customer's several requirements. After tracking the customer's information later, the transmission performance of the whole project's video-free monitoring system is stable and everything runs normally. The project side is very satisfied with the site situation!
